The ski bus stops right below Edelweiss and takes you to Maso Corto, which is just 10 minutes away at the head of the valley. There, you'll find numerous beautiful ski tours, and the gondolas will quickly transport you to the snow-sure ski area with its wide slopes and lovely cross-country trails. You can start your winter hikes and snow tours right on foot from the hotel. How about a trip to the city?

The idyllic, snow-covered winter landscape in the Glacier ski area Val Senales offers many opportunities to explore the mountains through ski tours or snowshoe hikes. You can start snowshoeing right from the hotel, as many beautiful trails run below the tree line.

Most ski tours start in Maso Corto in the rear Senales Valley, just a few minutes from Edelweiss. For beginners, the easy ascent to the 2,887-meter-high Stotz is very popular. Experienced ski tourers can tackle the challenging route to the Ötzi discovery site.

Sunny, snow-sure, and suitable for all skill levels – that's what makes the Glacier ski area Val Senales stand out. The ski season starts with us in September and lasts until early May. 50 kilometres of sunny slopes stretch from 2,000 to 3,200 meters in altitude, from the Hochjochferner glacier down to Maso Corto in the valley. Cross-country enthusiasts can enjoy 7 kilometres of high-altitude trails. Just a 10-minute drive or ski bus ride, and you'll reach the base station of the glacier cable car, where two ski rental shops provide the appropriate equipment.

Between ski tours, winter hikes, or a day on the slopes of the Val Senales Glacier, winter is all about enjoyment. And not just at Edelweiss itself but also on the go. Numerous mountain huts serve South Tyrolean specialties in cozy parlours and on sunny terraces.
